2016-17 Price List and Special Packages:

All Inclusive Package Hunt: Choice of 1 trophy “Free Range”animal (Axis, Blackbuck, Ram, Sika or Whitetail), 2 hogs and unlimited predators or varmints. 3 days/2 nights lodging with meals, transportation on the ranch, guide services, care of game harvested for transport to processor or taxidermist. $2500 per hunter.                                                                                                                                                                                                             NOTE: Hunter may upgrade trophy animal to an Aoudad or a Fallow for an additional $1000.

• Parent/Child Hunt / Cull Package: 1 doe (Exotic or Whitetail when needed and in season), 2 hogs and unlimited predators or varmints. 3 days/2 nights lodging with meals, transportation on the ranch, guide services, care of game harvested for transport to processor or taxidermist. $1200 per person (1 Youth (17 and under) per Adult at No Charge).

Hog Package: 2 hogs and unlimited predators or varmints. 3 days/2 nights lodging with meals, transportation on the ranch, guide services, care of game harvested for transport to processor or taxidermist. $750 per person.

Hunts to take place on the Haecker Safari Ranch outside of Leakey TX. in Real County Located 2 hours west of San Antonio, TX.  A minimum 50% deposit is due upon booking any package or hunt with balance due upon arrival.

Additional “Free Range Animals” and days may be added to any package according to current prices below:

• $250 per day per hunter • $150 per day per non-hunter/guest. Check in time 2:00 pm Check out time 12:00 pm.  NOTE: Each calendar day is applied towards daily rate totals including arrival and departure days.

Axis Buck $2500 • Axis Doe $750
Axis Deer (also known as the Chital): Native to India.
Size: The male Axis stands about 35” tall at the shoulder and weighs between 66 to 165 lbs. with a total length of 67”.
Female Axis weigh between 55 to 99 lbs.
Antlers: Axis antlers are usually 3-pronged and they drop them once a year based on their birthday.
Best time to hunt: All Year

Aoudad $3500
Aoudad (also known as Barbary sheep): Native to North Africa.
Size: Aoudad stand between 2.6’ to 3.3’ tall at the shoulder and weigh between 88 to 309 lb.
Horns: Aoudad horns are fairly smooth, with slight wrinkles evident at the base as the animal matures.  Mature Aoudad Rams have horns between 22-30″, females also have horns which are usually smaller in diameter and shorter!
Best time to hunt: All Year

Blackbuck $2500 • Doe $750
Blackbuck (antelope): Native to the southern region of Asia.
Size: Blackbucks are slender with a head-to-body length of about 47”. They stand between 29” to 33” high at the shoulder. Adult males range in weight from 75 to 99 lbs.; females weigh 68 to 86 lbs.
Horns: Only males have horns that are diverging, cylindrical, spiral, and ringed throughout. The rings are closer together near the skull. The turns of the spiral vary from less than three to five.
Best time to hunt: All year

Elk (Bull) $5000 • Elk (Cow) $2500
Elk: Native to North America and eastern Asia.
Size: Elk cows average 496 to 531 lbs. and stand 4.3‘ at the shoulder, and are 6.9’ in length. Bulls weigh an average of 705 to 730 lbs. and stand 4.9’ at the shoulder and 8’ in length.
Horns: Only the males have antlers, which start growing in the spring and are shed each winter
Best time to hunt: Fall, October – February

Fallow Buck $3500 • Fallow Doe $750
Fallow Deer: Native to western Eurasia.
Size: Adult bucks are 55–63” long, stand 33–37” at the shoulder and weigh 130–220 lbs. Does are 51–59” long, stand 30–33” at the shoulder, and weigh 66–110 lbs.
Horns: Only bucks have antlers, which are broad and shovel-shaped which are shed each winter.
Best time to hunt: Fall, October – February

Rams $2500
Rams: Native to Texas
Size: Males typically weigh between 130 and 160 lbs; females 80 to 100 lbs.
Horns: Horns in males only that circle and turn outward at tips. Lengths of 14 inches and up, typically 28 to 35 inches in adults. The males’ horns can weigh up to 30 lbs. Females, called ewes, also have horns that are smaller.
Best time to hunt: All year

Red Stag $5000
Red Stag: Inhabits most of Europe, the Caucasus Mountains region, Asia Minor, Iran, parts of western Asia, and central Asia. It also inhabits the Atlas Mountains region between Morocco and Tunisia in northwestern Africa, being the only species of deer to inhabit Africa.
Size: The typical Red Stag is typically 69 to 98” long and weighs 350 to 530 lbs. The tail adds another 4.7 to 7.5” and shoulder height is about 37 to 51”.
Antlers: Red Stag antlers start growing in the spring and are shed each year, usually at the end of winter.
Best time to hunt: Fall, October – February

Sika Buck $2500 Sika Doe $750
Sika: Native to East Asia.
Size: Sika can vary from 20 to 43’ tall at the shoulder and from 37 to 71’ in head-and-body length. The largest subspecies is the Manchurian sika deer in which males commonly weigh about 150–240 lbs. and females weigh 99–110 lbs. On the other end of the size spectrum, in the Japanese sika deer males weigh 88–154 lbs. and females weigh 66–88 lbs.
Antlers: Sika stags have stout, upright antlers with an extra buttress up from the brow tine and a very thick wall.
Best time to hunt: Fall, October – February

Scimitar-Horned Oryx $5000
Scimitar-Horned Oryx (now extinct in the wild): Native to North Africa.
Size: Scimitar-Horned Oryx stands just over 3.3‘ at the shoulder. The males weigh 310–460 lbs. and the females 201–309 lbs. The body measures 55–94” from the head to the base of the tail.
Horns: Both sexes have horns, but those of the females are more slender.
Best time to hunt: All year

Whitetail Buck $2500 • Whitetail Doe $750
Whitetail: Native to the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America
Size: Whitetail are highly variable in size. Length ranges from 37 to 87”, and the shoulder height range is 21 to 47”. Including all races, the average summer weight of adult males is 150 lbs. and 100 lbs. in adult females.
Antlers: Only males have antlers which they regrow every year.
Best time to hunt: Fall, October – February

Hogs $100
Hogs: Native to Spain.
Size: Adults can measure from 2’ to 4’3″ in head-and-body length. Adults stand 2’6”to 3’7” in height at the shoulder, and can weigh up to 400 lbs.
Tusks: tusks of a male may reach a length of 3″ to 5″.
Best time to hunt: All year

Rio Grande Turkey $750
Rio Grand Turkey: Native to North America
Size: The adult male (or “tom”) normally weighs from 11 to 24 lbs. and measures 39–49” in length. The adult female (or “hen”) is typically much smaller at 5.5–11.9 lbs. and 30 to 37” long.
Best time to hunt: Spring mid March-May, also in the fall during general deer season Nov-Jan

*High Fence Trophies may also be hunted upon request as $1000 trophy upgrade; size and availability to be determined at time of hunt as well other species may be available! This does not include or affect pricing for: Axis Does, Blackbuck Does, Fallow Does, Sika Does, Whitetail Does, Hogs or Turkeys harvested in the High Fence area and available when needed to manage the herds!

*Note High Fence Whitetails are  $3500 up to 130″ BC then add $100 per inch up to 200″ BC then for Bucks over 200″ BC add $200 per inch if available.

*Daily Rates for Hunters $250 per day and Non-Hunters $150 per day.

*Airport pickup and drop off is $200 plus $100 per passenger round trip from either San Antonio or San Angelo, TX. with up to 4 passengers per vehicle.

*Processing and Taxidermy services available at cost to be determined as we recommend and use several in the Central Texas area. Note you will pay and deal with them directly, we will deliver your trophies and meat to them along with your contact information at no charge as a courtesy, after that it is between the Hunter and Taxidermist/Processor. We do not guarantee or warranty any of their work and are held harmless from any loss or damages.

*Tips and Gratuities 10-15% of the total cost of the hunt is a good rule to follow and much appreciated!!
